I want to talk about it.

Yep, I want to talk about how it is exceptionally wrong for big business to avoid paying taxes, laying people off before they can become full time employees, using this "contract to hire" scheme, avoiding paying benefits, etc. I've been laid off twice now within the last 4 years. Pay wages are low, and you have people like our governor Bill Lee turning away federal help for the unemployed; people in real need. Oh, that money is going somewhere I bet, and not where it should be.

Why must we be so greedy? How is this man in a position that is supposed to represent the PEOPLE, going to deny us federal money for unemployment? Oh, it's OK when the writers go on strike demanding better wages and so on but you want to point the finger at the lower to mid class saying that the money would keep people from working?

News flash buddy, unemployment is not permanent! Even if you get approved there is a limit to how much you can get. It's not as if you can live off the government's teet that way. How can a state governor overrule a federal mandate? It's beyond messed up. We really need to take a hard look at how these laws and policies are being set.
